VJ PATHFINDER is a Live Performance Artist and Audiovisual Producer from Oststernberg (Poland).

BIO

Around 2010, the German/Polish Artist Jarek Nowicki decided that his numerous Oil-, Acrylic- and Graffiti Paintings in his Studio were too static and they had to move. Therefore, he began to Animate his own Paintings.

VJ Pathfinders Spectrum ranges from VJing, Live Cinema, Projection Mapping, 3D Animations, Creative Coding across Interactive Art and Scenographic Work, as well as spatial Concepts and Installations in Clubs, Theaters, Festivals or Urban Spaces.

However, VJ Pathfinder is not a Video Artist. In fact he should be considered as an Architect, who is trying to break down the boundaries between Painting, Sculpting and Video Art, rebuild it, loosen it and contract it again all afterwards in his own perception.

Collaborations emerged since 2010 with the following Artists: Slow Magic, Minilogue, Johnny Osbourne, Afrob, dOP, Calibre, DJ Mad, DJ Blame, Guaia Guaia, DJ Stylewarz, Blackbird Blackbird, Shaban (Käptn Peng), Stimming, DJ Stivs, Wælder, Awott, Owls Are Not, and many more.

Furthermore, since 2012, VJ Pathfinder is an integral part of the Visual Design at the Beatplantation Collective in the Ruhr Pott Area in Germany.

He shows his Works also at Festivals like Fusion Festival, 29C3 (CCC), Popfest Wien, Nachtaktiv, Shiny Toys, One Love Sound Fest, Dni Gorzowa, Nsk, Wilde Möhre, L*abore, AD Hoc, Destruktiva, MID Theatre Festival, Waves Vienna, Extraschicht, CTRL Berlin, Kulturrucksack, Grenzfrei, N.A.T.U.R Festival, Mirror Mirror and many more and not infrequently his an integral part of the Visual Design at these Events.
